A 19th century Warsaw Jew with a caftan, Letzki lived in a world where 17% of the prostitutes were Jews. Of interest is that few of this pre-war underworld made any great distinction between their activities and their religious life. Letzki organized a small synagogue for the Jewish prostitute community.
