First of all, and most important of all, we are not anti-semitic. The editors of this site are Jews, full Jews, 100% Jews, Ashkenazim, (the ones with the highest IQ’s) and we love Jews. We love hanging out with them, we enjoy talking to them, we enjoy kissing them, touching them, smelling them, (even Israelis.) We are obsessed with them. If we are reading a book, and there is the word ‘Jew’ on the page, our eyes quickly scan the page and pick the word out.
This is not our fault, our parents were obsessed with Jews too and thats mostly what they talked about also. When we hang out with gentiles they get upset because all we seem to talk about is Jews.
We have been asked, Why do you always bring up that so and so is Jewish? What do you care? There is no good answer or cure to our obsession.
On the other hand, perfect Jews, if there is such a thing, bore us. We love gossiping about the imperfect Jew. If someone attacks a Jew, we defend them, however if someone praises a Jew, we feel the need disagree.
I think this instinct comes from the bible. The bible, the holy book written by G-D with not one extra or misplaced word, is not a collection of stories of perfect Jews. The holy book is the story of imperfect Jews: Jews who have made mistakes, Jews who steal blessings from their brothers and Jews who send men to die on the front lines of battle so they can steal their wives. The characters of the bible are there for us to learn from; we learn from their mistakes more often than from their actions.
Some of the characters in this collection of more than 500 Shame On Jews are really disgusting people. Some were great men with tragic flaws. Some were average men who would have been forgotten except for their extraordinary screw-ups, and some were judged negatively in their time, but have now been exonerated by history. We present there stories for you to be entertained by, for you to laugh at and to be embarrassed by.
Enjoy the collection, and don’t blame us for writing about them. We are not perfect, but our intentions are good. We do not want to bring shame on the Jewish people. There have been some bad Jews, but overall we have been pretty good. We don’t like writing about the good ones, they are boring, we like the juicy bad ones. We want you to learn from the bad ones on how not to behave. Don’t be too greedy like Leona Helmsely or Marc Rich. Try not to follow blindly demagogues like Lazar Kaganovitch, and if you are a billionare developer like Charlie Kushner, try not to send a videotape to your sister of her husband having sex with a prostitute.
If you follow these simple life instructions, you too can avoid being a Shameonjew.
